He is the coolest dude around the block - His presence on the screen cracks me, esp the episode in which he decides to cut the vegetable in the shower and gets an incinerator installed to keep the drains from clogging! Good stuff!
Me: In total Seinfeld fashion, Nothing! I was saying nothing Just playing with my new camera!
Sudha: Ooooohhh. Touched a raw nerve, have we? Don’t worry. This blogger is a quintessential Kramer fan! Please see the “P.S”!
Hardu: Yes. Don’t worry. You are right! That’s mah man Kramer! And thanks for the compliment. We just bought a new camera. Our newest baby is a Sony DSC H2. And we are still testing it out.
q.s.gemini: Isn’t he the coolest one? No one is more in awe of Kramer than George and needless to say, no one sums up Kramer more succinctly than George. Kramer goes to baseball fantasy camp (and when he is there, ends up punching Mickey Mantle in the face, but that’s not the point) and when George hears about it, he rants -
Kramer goes to a fantasy camp? His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should throw down two thousand bucks to live like him for a week. Do nothing, fall ass-backwards in the money, mooch off your neighbors and have sex without dating, THAT’S a fantasy camp.
There is a lot of “George” in most guys than they ever know and knowing someone like Kramer should be very frustrating!
(All of you so far, P.S: FYI, the title and the footnote was a line from The Letter. And that pic is a photograph of a painting that hangs on one of the walls of our home, frankly a poor substitute for a full size poster of the same painting in the above mentioned episode which evokes that above mentioned reaction from a couple of art lovers)
ayyyayyaayy .. u ahve him on ur wall? …ur a forgiven. the whol world seems to be rolling while i read/write with half an eye open. bloody brit customers and stupid deadlines to blame - apologies
Sudha: Yes. We found that huge poster, but we wanted something framed, too look grown-up and all. So when we chanced upon this in a mall, while we were looking for something on “scarface” for an Tony Montana obsessed friend, we bought it immediately. We also found a poster showing George (that shot of him stretched on a diwan with just his boxers on) posing for Kramer. While that poster had us in splits, we were not sure if it was a good choice for wall decoration, particularly in a bedroom. LOL.. Btw, you have a blog now? We shall visit often, though your one-liners are very cryptic for us brain-dead.
oh pls oh pls dont tell me tales of the world outside.. i have not breathed LCD free air in a million years now. or rather do, so that i can live vicariouslyh ..
oh, am basically too lazy to write stuff that would translate better .. inbuilt skill and all..:P
Munimma: When one faces a limit regarding the level to which one can impose one’s tastes his house-mate, then the bedroom walls are the only canvas for experimentation. The bedroom walls are the domain then, where one can dabble with their design skills so that when one is ready to move out, then those skills can be readily exhibited in public and draw oohs and aahs. That is what is happening at this point. So in a couple of months that painting will grace the walls of our living room. And why “pro”, btw?
Reminds me of that ad with the guy putting up a black Bruce Lee picture on his living room wall — you’ll never get away with this in the ‘future’, so enjoy!
Dev: Glad to be of service. I would not have known if not for this Stallone movie where he is a former bomb defusing guy or something who has been fired and gets caught inside the tunnel after an overturned truck causes a blaze inside And as for me getting away with things, mebbe i will. I will wait and watch.
but this is not the painting that appears in that episode, is it? that has him looking straight with a more bemused expression if i remember right… the suit’s of a different color too…
Queen Mom: Welcome. How’s you. And hows the Maharaja? Yes.. Kramer level of coolness hard to reach! And you have a tee with Cosmo’s likeness? You are the coolest one!
