For the first time since I moved to Jersey, I spent Memorial Day at home. I haven’t had the chance to spend too much time at home in the past couple of months because of work, and so was not really inclined to play road warrior again.

But it was fun all the same, with the Jones Beach Air Show and the Brooklyn Bridge featuring predominantly in the adventures from the weekend.

That week in ‘05 was the best time I have had, ever. We soon drifted apart, but I never forgot. Last year, when we met again, I was with her. I realized how badly I missed being with you. And you told me to go to hell. But I am glad I persisted! Thanks, darling.

I got this picture as an email forward yesterday. This is one of the VERY few cricket related email forwards that actually made me laugh. For those of you who are not in the know, the conversation is actually from this movie. Non-Tams, please excuse. The point of the joke’s lost upon explanation.

I saw you last Sunday. Where? Yeah, I was on the Turnpike heading North, when you went past. I tried to get your attention, but you did not seem to notice. It’s been sometime since we met, but you are as hot as I can remember. In fact, when I heard a couple of months ago that you had a makeover, I was skeptical. I never would have agreed if someone had told me that a makeover would make you better. To me, your beauty was unsurpassed.
